**The TV Revolution: Substack Takes a Leap into Video with Apple TV and Google TV Debut**

Hey everyone, I’m excited to share some big news with you all – Substack, the popular newsletter platform, has just launched a TV app for Apple TV and Google TV! That’s right, you can now watch video posts and livestreams created by your favorite authors on the big screen.

This new development is a major step in Substack’s push into video and livestreaming, and it’s got everyone in the industry buzzing. The app is designed to provide a seamless viewing experience, with a “For You” row that highlights top creators and recommended content. And the best part? Both free and paid subscribers can access the app, with content availability based on their subscription tier.

One of the coolest features of the TV app is the seamless integration with Substack’s existing features. For example, paid subscribers can access exclusive content and even get paid upgrades, all from within the app. And for free subscribers, there will be paid content previews and other goodies on the way.

But not everyone is thrilled about this new direction. Some users are expressing concerns about Substack’s shift away from writing and towards video. I get it – I’m still a newsletter junkie at heart, and I love the intimacy of reading a well-crafted email. But at the same time, I think it’s amazing that Substack is trying to stay ahead of the curve and adapt to how we consume content.

The fact is, video is becoming a bigger and bigger part of our lives, and Substack wants to be at the forefront of that trend. And with this TV app, they’re taking a bold step into the unknown. Will it be a success? Only time will tell. But one thing’s for sure – Substack is no longer just a newsletter platform.

**What do you think about Substack’s TV app? Are you excited to watch videos from your favorite authors on your TV? Or are you more of a newsletter purist like me? Let us know in the comments below!**

And if you want to stay up-to-date on all the latest news and trends in the world of content creation, be sure to follow us on social media. We’ll be keeping a close eye on Substack’s TV app and the wider TV app landscape.

**Update**: It’s worth noting that Substack isn’t the only player in the living room. Instagram recently launched IG for TV, a new experience that lets users watch Reels on TV, starting with Amazon Fire TV. The TV app landscape is getting hot, hot, hot! Stay tuned for more updates.
