**Roku’s CEO Spills the Beans: Howdy’s Biggest Plans (Beyhive, You’re Gonna Love This!)**

So, you’re probably wondering what’s next for Roku’s affordable streaming service, Howdy. Well, wonder no more! At a recent industry shindig, Roku’s CEO, Anthony Wooden, gave us a peek into the future of this game-changing channel. And, let me tell you, it’s looking bright!

Launched back in August, Howdy is a $2.99 per month streaming service that’s ad-free and packed with a library of content. In a world where streaming providers are constantly jacking up their prices and piling on more ads, Howdy is all about filling the gap. And, according to Wooden, that gap is huge! “The chance for Howdy was when you just look at what’s happening in the streaming world with streaming providers, they’re getting dearer. They keep raising costs, and they keep adding bigger and bigger ad loads,” he said. “And so, the part of the market where it really began – low-cost and no ads – is gone now. There’s no streaming providers that tackle that portion of the market.”

But, here’s the best part: Roku’s not stopping at just the Roku platform! Wooden hinted that Howdy will soon be available on other devices, including mobile apps, the web, and more. When asked for specifics, he simply said, “We’ll take it off-platform as well.” Ah, we love a good mystery!

Now, I know what you’re thinking: “How big is Howdy, really?” Well, we’re not getting subscriber numbers just yet, but Wooden is stoked about the future. “I think if I just look at the market, it’s going to be a huge streaming service,” he exclaimed.

So, there you have it: Howdy’s coming to a device near you… eventually! We’ll just have to wait and see where it’ll actually be available, but one thing’s for sure – Roku’s committed to making its affordable streaming service a major player in the market. Buckle up, folks!
