Plaud launches a brand new AI pin and a desktop assembly notetaker

    Plaud NotePin S feat

CES 2026, here we come! Plaud is stealing the show with their latest launch – the Plaude NotePin S, a revolutionary AI-powered notetaker that’s about to change the game for digital conferences. I mean, who doesn’t love a good meeting, right? But let’s be real, they can get pretty tedious without the right tools.

That’s where Plaud comes in. Their latest innovation is a game-changer, and I’m not just saying that because I’m a fan of their products (I’m also a fan of their Word Professional, which has been a lifesaver for note-taking). The NotePin S is an upgrade from their previous model, with a sleek new design and some seriously cool features.

First off, the physical button is a genius move. I mean, who hasn’t struggled to start and stop a recording in the middle of a meeting? Now, you can do it all with the press of a button. And, just like the Word Professional, you can use it to highlight specific points during the recording. Talk about making life easy!

But what really gets me excited is the accessories that come in the box. Yeah, you read that right – you get a whole bunch of extras, including a clip, lanyard, magnetic pin, and wristband. That means you can wear the device however you want, and with Apple Find My support on the way, you’ll never have to worry about losing it again.

Of course, the specs are impressive too. You get 64GB of onboard storage, which is a lot of room for notes (and photos and typed notes, etc.). The battery life is 20 hours of continuous recording, which is perfect for those long meetings. And, the two MEMS mics can pick up clear audio from up to 9.8 feet away. That’s some serious audio power.

Now, I know what you’re thinking – what about the price? The NotePin S is going for $179, which is a pretty reasonable price considering all the features you get. Plus, you get 300 minutes of free transcription per month, which is a nice bonus.

Compared to the Word Professional, the NotePin S is smaller and more portable, making it perfect for people who are always on the go. But, it does have a shorter recording range and lower battery life. Still, it’s a great option if you need something more compact.

And, here’s the best part – Plaud’s new desktop app works across meeting apps! It can detect when a meeting is happening and prompt you to record the transcript, and it even allows for multimodal inputs, so you can add photos and typed notes to your notes. The app uses system audio to capture the meeting, and then uses AI to build the transcription into notes. It’s seriously cool stuff.

So, there you have it – Plaud’s latest launch is a total game-changer. If you’re heading to CES 2026, be sure to check out their booth to learn more about the NotePin S and their desktop app. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
