I’m still trying to process the whirlwind that was Davos this year. I mean, I’ve been to some crazy conferences in my time, but the World Economic Forum was a whole different beast. It’s like someone took Silicon Valley and dropped it into the Swiss Alps. Talk about a culture clash!
The common thread that tied everything together was, of course, AI. It was like the elephant in the room that everyone was either obsessed with or terrified of. I mean, the CEOs were definitely letting it all hang out – in a good way! It was refreshing to see the world’s most powerful people admitting that tech has taken over, and we’re all just along for the ride.
On this week’s Equity podcast, we dive deep into the highlights (and lowlights) of Davos. We talk about the Meta and Salesforce takeover of the main promenade, because let’s be real, those guys know how to make an entrance. We also touch on the startup raises that flew under the radar, because those are always the most exciting parts.
So, what did we learn from Davos this year? Well, it wasn’t all about climate change and poverty, that’s for sure. We also covered the latest startup raises, and trust me, you won’t want to miss those. And, of course, we had some other juicy tidbits to share.
