**Disney Takes a Page from TikTok’s Book: Short-Form Videos Coming to Disney+**

Hey there, fellow Disney fans! If you’re anything like me, you’re probably thrilled to hear that Disney is bringing short-form video content to its Disney+ platform in the US this year. I mean, who doesn’t love a good bite-sized snack of entertainment, am I right?

According to Disney, this new feature is all about making the platform more engaging and dynamic, providing a more personalized experience for users. They’re planning to serve up a mix of original short-form content, repurposed social clips, and excerpts from TV shows and movies. Sounds like a tasty recipe to me!

“We’re excited to integrate vertical video in ways that are native to core user behaviors, so it won’t feel like a disjointed, random experience,” said Erin Teague, EVP of Product Management for Disney Entertainment and ESPN. Yeah, no one likes a disjointed experience. Give me something seamless and enjoyable any day!

This move isn’t entirely surprising, considering the way younger audiences are consuming content these days. You know, short, snappy clips on their phones rather than long-form TV shows and movies. I mean, who has the attention span for that anymore, right?

Disney+ isn’t the first streaming service to try this out, of course. Netflix introduced a vertical feed last year that lets users scroll through clips from its original titles. But hey, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?

So, what does this mean for us users? Well, expect to see a new way to consume Disney content that’s shorter, snappier, and more in tune with the way we consume media today. I’m talking quick-hitting clips of your favorite Disney movies and shows, maybe even some exclusive behind-the-scenes content. Sign me up!

Stay tuned, folks! I’ll be keeping an eye on this development and bringing you more updates as they roll in.
