I’m so excited to be writing this live blog from the show floor at CES 2026! Like everyone else, I’ve been waiting for what feels like forever for the tech industry’s biggest event to finally open its doors to the public. And boy, has it been worth the wait.
The past few days have been a whirlwind of press conferences, product announcements, and sneak peeks at some of the most exciting tech trends of the year. And one thing is clear: AI is still at the top of everyone’s mind.
Let’s start with Monday’s biggest players. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang took the stage to give us a first look at the company’s latest advancements in AI and robotics. One of the highlights was the unveiling of the Rubin computing structure, which will replace Blackwell by the end of the year. This new architecture promises to deliver even faster and more efficient processing power for AI applications. And to make things even more interesting, Nvidia also showcased its Alpamayo family of open-source AI models and tools, which will be used in autonomous vehicles this year.
But Nvidia wasn’t the only one making waves on Monday. AMD Chair and CEO Lisa Su kicked off the day with a keynote highlighting the company’s new processors and partnerships. And to top it all off, she was joined on stage by some of the biggest names in AI, including OpenAI President Greg Brockman and AI legend Fei-Fei Lei.
Now, let’s talk about some of the more innovative announcements we’ve seen so far at CES. Boston Dynamics and Google partnered up to showcase Atlas robots, and let me tell you, the new iteration is something special. Hyundai also made some big moves, focusing on robotics and partnering with Google’s AI research lab. That’s a huge deal, folks!
Amazon also made some noise with its AI-centric update, Alexa+. The company is launching a new website, Alexa.com, for Early Entry prospects, and rumor has it that we can expect some big changes to Fire TV and new Artline TVs with Alexa+ integration.
Of course, no CES would be complete without some news from Ring. Our reporter Ivan Mehta has all the details on the company’s latest announcements, from fire alerts to an app store for third-party camera integration. And Razer is also getting in on the AI action with its Project AVA and Motoko. The former aims to operate like smart glasses, but without the glasses, while the latter is an AI-powered companion that’ll sit on your desk.
Last but not least, Lego made its first-ever appearance at CES to showcase its Good Play System, which includes bricks, tiles, and Minifigures that work together and play sounds. It’s a fun and innovative take on the traditional Lego experience.
That’s just a small taste of what’s been revealed so far at CES 2026. Stay tuned for more updates, and check out our live blog for more spur-of-the-moment reactions and thoughts from our team on the ground. We’re just getting started, and I’m excited to see what the rest of the week brings!
